Marion was a long time friend of mine since Jr. High and I will miss her dearly.  She would call me monthly to check on how I was dong and I always visited with her at her house every time I came up to NJ.  I am so glad I got to visit with her in August and September while she was still up to it before I had to go back to Floirda.  Her passing leaves a hole in my heart and I will truely miss her.  I just hope Rich will be OK without her.  Marion, God Bless You.  Lynda

I had a couple of phone conversations with Marion since our 50th reunion.  She was so pleasant.  Lynda, I'm sure she looked forward to each of your visits.  You were a good friend to her.  God bless, Marion.

I had several lengthy phone conversations with Marion since our classmate search in 2013. She had some health issues, so spent a lot of time at home in her beloved 200 year old farmhouse with her devoted husband Rich. He answered the phone a few times, and seemed very nice. She loved to chat on the phone- always at least an hour- and was always upbeat, even whe she told me in August that she had terminal pancreatic cancer. She  had made all her end of life plans; I told her she was facing this with so much courage and she actually did sound physically strong. Her response- "What choice do I have?!" Not one for pity, she was at peace living out the remainder of her days after what seems like a very happy marriage with someone who was truly her soulmate. They had a small RV and spent a year traveling the US in it. As they both said, you have to get along to be in such close quarters for that much time. She especially enjoyed visits from Lynda Orselli. They were friends since primary school, and anytime Lynda was up North from her home in FL she drove to Montgomery NY to spend the day with Marion. Rest in Peace, Marion
