I made a telephone condolence call and spoke with Richie's lovely wife Joann this afternoon. After working together in banking, they moved to Florida to enjoy retirement. Richie worked part-time as a golf ranger. He had not been ill, but on Monday did not feel well at the golf course and was subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment of congestive heart failure. Sadly, he passed away two days later. Joann was at his side. As he wished, no visiting or service is planned. They enjoyed their life together and hopefully she has  many memories of happy times to bring a smile to her face when she feels sad.

I was so saddened to hear of Richie's passing. We all called him "Richie" back in BHS.  He was such a loveable sweet guy whom everyone liked.    RIP Richie.

I was shocked and greatly saddened to learn of Richie’s death.  I knew him from kindergarten up.  He was funny, cute, nice to everyone, and all the girls were in “love with him.”  Plus, he was a guys guy.

Sorry to learn of Richard's untimely passing. We had some fun working on the stage crew, getting out of study hall to work in the scenery and props.   An overall good guy.

I too was saddened to hear of Richie’s death. He was always a sweet guy with a twinkle in his eye. I was sorry he didn’t make it to the 50th but glad to know he was enjoying life which he always seemed to grab with both hands. We became Fb friends and wouldn’t you know just yesterday my Fb page opened with a memory and there was Richie’s bearded face smiling reminding me that we had become Fb Friends 3 years ago that day. Said another prayer for him right then and had to smile myself. Peace, Richie.
