I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Ajalat’s death. What a talented gentle man.  I will always remember him and great times at BHS- choir and our Madrigal group. He and Mr. Dente awarded me a special scholarship to attend symphonies at Lincoln Center which developed my love for classical music and on into opera. Buddy was one in a million and we were so fortunate to have him at BHS. God bless and my deepest sympathy to Carole and family. There is a wonderful Hallelujah chorus in heaven right now! Elaine

I am devastated at the news of Buddy’s death.  I took choir Fot 4 fabulous years at Bogota High School, looking forward to his class every  day.  In addition, our lives crossed paths finding ourselves in the same class for a graduate class at Montclair State College.  Finally, l taught 2 of his wonderful children at Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale.  It was certainly a strange feeling having him and Carole in my classroom on Back to School nights.  The last time I saw Buddy and Carole was at Bogota High’s 50th reunion.  I was lucky to be able to talk with them, but only for a brief period of time.  Buddy was a wonderful man who left a lasting impression on my life.  He will be sorely missed by me and all of the many lives he touched.
